Prof. Lei is an accomplished artist, educator, and researcher specialising in contemporary watercolour painting. With a strong academic background, he is an alumnus of the renowned Luxun Academy of Fine Arts and currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the School of Art Education, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, where he also serves as a supervisor for master's students. He was an academic visitor at the Arts University Bournemouth. As an esteemed member of the Chinese Artists Association, he has made significant contributions to the field of art education and theory. His artworks have garnered recognition through participation in numerous national and local exhibitions, receiving prestigious awards. His expertise lies in exploring the creative and theoretical aspects of contemporary watercolour painting.
