We are seeking highly motivated individuals with experience in higher education, membership management and fundraising, finance and marketing to join the IVAS Advisory Board. As an Advisory Board member, you will play a critical role in shaping and steering our strategy and channelling expertise and resources to support our mission and growth.
Your responsibilities will include,
Strategic Guidance:
Offer insights and advice to the executive team and other Advisory Board members on issues related to our mission, objectives and long-term strategy.
Expertise and Experience:
Utilise your specialised knowledge and professional experience to provide guidance and input on key decisions, initiatives and challenges and opportunities.
Network and Connections:
Leverage your network to help forge partnerships and collaborations for IVAS community.
Governance and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards and contribute to policy development.

Advisory Board Members serve in a voluntary capacity and are expected to commit their time, expertise and passion to the organisation’s mission and objectives. IVAS will meet all reasonable expenses incurred undertaking Board matters. The appointment will be made for 12 months starting on the 1st of October 2023 and ending on the 30th of September 2024. The appointee will be eligible for reappointment for a further term of 12 months upon review. The estimated overall time commitment required for the role is approximately 6 days a year. Our board meets twice per year in October and February.
